Privacy Policy

The short version: RAWCraft processes your photos entirely on your iPhone. We don't collect your photos, we don't require an account, and your images never leave your device. The app sends only anonymous usage statistics, like how many exports finished, and you can turn that off in Settings.

Your photos and content

All editing - reading your Apple ProRAW files, applying LUTs, and exporting - happens locally on your device using Apple's on-device image processing. RAWCraft does not upload, transmit, or store your photos, the .cube and .xmp files you import, or your edits on any server. They stay on your iPhone.

Information we do not collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or contact details in the app.
• We do not require you to create an account or sign in.
• We do not access your photo library except the photos you choose to open.
• We do not track your location.

The app does share anonymous usage statistics, described in the next section. They never include your photos or anything that identifies you.

App analytics

The RAWCraft app collects a small set of anonymous usage statistics, such as how many photos were imported, which built-in looks were applied, and how many exports finished. These events never include your photos, your file names, your location, or your name or email. They carry no identifier that could link them to you, and we never try to create one.

We use these statistics for one purpose: to see which features get used so we can improve the app. They are processed for us by PostHog and stored in the European Union. We do not sell them and we do not use them for advertising. We keep them only for as long as they are useful for improving the app.

You can turn analytics off at any time in the app under Settings. Everything works exactly the same with it off, including the one-time unlock.

Purchases

The one-time RAWCraft unlock is an in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes your payment - we never see or store your payment information. Apple may share aggregate, anonymized sales data with us. Please review Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchases.

This website

This website (rawcraft.app) is hosted on Vercel. We use analytics - including Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics - to understand overall visitor traffic, such as how many people view a page. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf; we do not use this data to identify you personally and we do not run advertising cookies. You can read Google's Privacy Policy to learn how Google handles this data. We only set analytics cookies if you accept them using the consent banner shown on your first visit.

Children's privacy

RAWCraft is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
